The people of God are called to act with love that overcomes drawn boundaries, love that expects no reward, and love that recognizes one human community. Love is action, not just an idea about love and mercy. We are called to be good Samaritans to the world that has plenty of folks who have fallen victim to those who would rob them of their well-being and dignity.
